Refrigerated Truck

We have an active pilot with NTA Pharmaceuticals in Mérida, Mexico on a refrigerated truck. NTA is a Mexican-based pharmaceutical company recently acquired by DHL. This pilot was sponsored by TechEmerge - an innovation of the International Finance Corporation, a subsidiary of the World Bank Group.

We are increasing NTA’s profits and reducing their carbon footprint by reducing diesel fuel usage during operations. Reducing diesel usage makes a material impact on profitably, given that fuel is the largest expense in the industry. Our thin film also reduces stress on the air conditioning unit therefore increasing the life of the truck. We submitted progress reports to TechEmerge throughout the course of the pilot, and TechEmerge remarked that the final report was the ‘best report they ever received.’
