We have an active pilot with Carson Hybrid Energy Storage in Carson, California. Our film was installed on different pieces of equipment around the site. Carson Hybrid is a 50 MW Natural Gas Power Plant that generates electricity for Los Angeles County. Carson Hybrid is privately owned and has implemented many technological innovations over the years, and told our team that our installation has “wowed more than any technology he has ever installed.”
Our thin film will increase profits, safety, and efficiency at Carson Hybrid by reducing temperature. Natural Gas Power Plants make up 40% of US electricity generation. Our thin film will allow for more electricity created per unit of fuel, therefore reducing the carbon footprint of the grid. Decreasing temperature of equipment also reduces the chance of events such as electrical shorts, fires, and faults.
