Battery Energy Storage System
We have an active pilot with ConEd Clean Energy Business in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. ConEd CEBs are a subsidiary of the utility and are focused on bringing clean power to the grid. This pilot is on a test Battery and inverter at ConEd’s storage team and is used to determine the efficacy of technological innovations for batteries. ConEd remarked to an independent reference that ‘they planned on doing a larger pilot in the spring.’
Our thin film will keep internal temperatures down on the battery, thereby increasing profits, safety, and longevity of the unit. Reducing auxiliary power usage directly leads to increased profits as more electricity can be deployed onto the grid. Additional clean energy also reduces the fossil fuel energy needed.
